Astros rock Eovaldi with 5 HRs in 2nd inning to tie MLB record

The Houston Astros put a historical beatdown on Boston Red Sox right-hander Nathan Eovaldi during Tuesday's game.

Yordan Alvarez, Kyle Tucker, Jeremy Pena, Michael Brantley, and Yuli Gurriel went deep in the second inning off Eovaldi to tie an MLB record for most long balls in a single inning:

The feat has been accomplished only eight times, according to Sarah Langs of MLB.com.

Eovaldi ended up giving up nine runs (six earned) on eight hits over 1 2/3 innings.
