Astros' Odorizzi leaves on stretcher with leg injury

Houston Astros right-hander Jake Odorizzi was stretchered off the field after suffering a leg injury running to cover first base in the fifth inning of Monday's game against the Boston Red Sox.

The Astros said Odorizzi is dealing with left lower leg discomfort, and that they will provide more information when it becomes available.
Odorizzi entered the start with a 3.38 ERA and 1.23 WHIP over six starts (26 2/3 innings) for the Astros this season.
