One of the great pitcher-catcher tandems in MLB history etched their names into the record books on Sunday.

With their 15-6 win over the San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright and catcher Yadier Molina posted their 203rd victory as a battery to surpass Warren Spahn and Del Crandall atop the all-time list.

The 40-year-old Wainwright was razor-sharp, allowing a pair of runs on three hits with five strikeouts across six innings.

Molina, 39, helped the cause with a two-run single to cap a four-run first inning and later added a two-run home run for good measure.

Wainwright and Molina have been teammates since 2005. The pair were integral to the franchise's World Series title in 2006, with Wainwright emerging as a lockdown closer, racking up four postseason saves.

The dynamic duo have combined for 13 All-Star appearances and 11 Gold Gloves during their decorated time together.

Both Wainwright and Molina indicated the 2022 campaign will likely be the last of their illustrious careers.
