The Los Angeles Dodgers signed free-agent outfielder Kevin Pillar to a minor-league contract, the club announced Tuesday, according to Andy McCullough of The Athletic.
Pillar could earn a base of $2.5 million if he makes the team, reports Jon Heyman of MLB Network.

The nine-year veteran slashed .231/.277/.415 with 15 homers and 47 RBIs over 124 games for the New York Mets last season. He's also played for the Toronto Blue Jays, San Francisco Giants, Boston Red Sox, and Colorado Rockies during his career.
