The Colorado Rockies and reliever Alex Colome are in agreement on a one-year contract, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.
Colome spent the 2021 campaign with the Minnesota Twins, posting a 4-4 record with 17 saves and a 4.15 ERA in 65 innings pitched.
The 33-year-old joins a Rockies bullpen that struggled last season, finishing 26th in ERA (4.91) and 24th in fWAR (1.7), according to FanGraphs.
The one-time All-Star is an established ninth-inning option. He paced the American League with 47 saves in 2017 while pitching for the Tampa Bay Rays.
Colome is a nine-year veteran and owns a career 32-27 record with 155 saves and a 3.11 ERA in 393 appearances. He's also made stops with the Seattle Mariners and Chicago White Sox.
