The Chicago White Sox and utility man Leury Garcia agreed to a three-year, $16.5-million contract, the team announced.
Garcia hit five homers with 54 RBIs and a .711 OPS over 126 games for the White Sox last season. The 30-year-old has spent the last nine campaigns with Chicago.
It's the second multi-year deal the White Sox have handed out this offseason. Chicago also added reliever Kendall Graveman last week.
