The way Houston Astros star teammates Carlos Correa and Jose Altuve jell reminds Dusty Baker of another famous duo playing for the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"It's kind of like Tom Brady and (Rob) Gronkowski," the Astros manager said of Correa and Altuve's relationship, according to Daniel Kramer of "They know how they think. They know probably what they eat for dinner, what they like, and what their kids like.

"It's a special relationship that will last forever because when they get through playing, they'll be coming back to many teams that won in 2017 or teams that won here and teams that won there - and they're a big part of it."

Correa, 27, and Altuve, 31, have suited up together with the Astros for seven seasons - a span that includes a World Series championship in 2017, another trip to the Fall Classic in 2019, six playoff appearances, and four division titles.

In terms of personal accolades, Altuve's 20th career postseason home run in Game 1 of the ALCS on Friday tied Hall of Famer Derek Jeter for third-most all time, while Correa leads all active players in playoff RBIs after going deep against the Boston Red Sox.

Brady and Gronkowski, meanwhile, are playing their 11th season together after departing the New England Patriots and reuniting as teammates with the Buccaneers. The tandem has collected four Super Bowl rings.
