Stroman: Soto 'best hitter I've ever faced'
Marcus Stroman thinks Juan Soto is Major League Baseball's best player, and the New York Mets right-hander seemingly doesn't have a doubt in his mind that the Washington Nationals outfielder will be an all-time great.
Soto. I believe he’s the best player in the league. He’s the best hitter I’ve ever faced in my life for sure. When it’s all said and done…he will go down as one of the best players ever in my eyes! https://t.co/eQfFqAiLKi

Stroman continued to compliment Soto in various tweets Saturday, calling the 22-year-old a rare commodity in today's game thanks to his disciplined plate approach.
He’s unreal. His zone judgement is godly. He won’t expand outside the strike zone which is beyond rare in our game today! https://t.co/ndapEbHQHL

I’m telling you. He’s the clear cut best hitter I’ve ever faced. You feel like he’s on everything while not even offering at your best pitch slightly out of the zone. He’s a robot that’s not allowed to swing at anything but a strike. Mentally drained after facing him! Lol 😂🤦🏾♂️ https://t.co/6Lk2Tu2JqD

Soto is making a push for the National League MVP award thanks to an otherworldly second half, which includes a .377/.547/.706 slash line with 18 homers, 50 RBIs, and 77 walks in 64 games.
