San Diego Padres second baseman Jake Cronenworth hit for the cycle after registering an infield single in the top of the sixth inning against the Washington Nationals during a 24-8 blowout Friday.

Cronenworth collected a double in the second, triple in the third, and home run in the fifth.
Jake Cronenworth, fresh off an All-Star coronation, has hit for the third cycle in Padres history. The owner of the second, Wil Myers, has driven in a career-high six runs.

The 27-year-old is the second major leaguer to accomplish the feat this season. Nationals shortstop Trea Turner also hit for the cycle in late June.
