The Cleveland Indians' starting rotation took another hit Wednesday.
Right-hander Aaron Civale is expected to miss four-to-five weeks with a sprain of the middle finger on his right hand, the club announced, according to Mandy Bell of MLB.com.
Civale exited Monday's start early with a finger injury.
The 26-year-old is enjoying a breakout campaign, posting a 3.32 ERA with a 1.06 WHIP and an MLB-best 10 wins through 15 starts.
Civale joins ace Shane Bieber and right-hander Zach Plesac on the injured list.
