Tatis hasn't played since May 9 due to a positive COVID-19 test, while Hosmer last suited up May 11 after contracting the virus.
San Diego's offense will get a big boost with the duo returning. The two have combined to hit 13 home runs with 35 RBIs this season.
Tucupita Marcano and John Andreoli were optioned to Triple-A to make room on the active major-league roster.
