The Milwaukee Brewers optioned slumping infielder Keston Hiura, the club announced Monday.
Hiura is slashing .152/.247/.266 with one home run in 26 games this season. The 24-year-old owns a career .800 OPS with 33 round-trippers in 169 contests with the Brewers since debuting in 2019.
Outfielders Christian Yelich and Lorenzo Cain were reinstated from the 10-day injured list. Yelich had been sidelined with a back issue.
