The injuries keep piling up for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Veteran left-hander David Price, who is pitching out of the bullpen this season, has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain, the Dodgers announced Monday.

It's a Grade 2 strain that will sideline Price for "a few weeks minimum," manager Dave Roberts said, according to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times.

Price sustained the injury during Sunday's game against the San Diego Padres and was pulled after just one inning of action.

The Dodgers moved Price into a regular relief role for the first time in his career ahead of the 2021 campaign due to their glut of starting pitchers. The former Cy Young winner owns a 5.59 ERA and 1.86 WHIP with one save across 9 2/3 innings pitched this season.

Price, 35, becomes the eighth Dodgers player currently on the IL. He joins former National League MVP Cody Bellinger and relievers Corey Knebel and Joe Kelly, among others.

L.A. activated infielder Gavin Lux and right-hander Dennis Santana from the IL on Monday, while right-hander Mitch White was recalled from the alternate training site. The defending World Series champions also optioned left-hander Garrett Cleavinger and outfielder DJ Peters to their alternate site.
