Tempers flared between the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians in the first inning Thursday after Adam Eaton shoved Andres Gimenez following a close play at second base.
Eaton was upset with Gimenez for being pushed off the base, resulting in Eaton being called out by umpire Bill Miller.
The White Sox outfielder continued to show his aggravation by putting his hands on Indians infielder Cesar Hernandez before players from both teams came onto the field.
No one was ejected following the fracas.
Eaton was hit by a pitch in his next at-bat, without incident.
