The Arizona Diamondbacks signed outfielder Josh Reddick to a minor-league contract, according to Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic.

Reddick will reportedly head to the team's alternate training site, and the veteran could make $750,000 if he reaches the majors.

Diamondbacks general manager Mike Hazen and assistant GM Amiel Sawdaye know Reddick from when all three were members of the Boston Red Sox organization, Piecoro notes.

Reddick owns a career .263/.322/.428 slash line with 144 home runs and 544 RBIs over 12 seasons. He's suited up for the Red Sox, Houston Astros, Oakland Athletics, and Los Angeles Dodgers.
