Right-hander Dustin May will start the 2021 campaign in the Los Angeles Dodgers' starting rotation, according to Juan Toribio of MLB.com.

2012 Cy Young winner David Price will head to the bullpen, Toribio adds.

Price has only made 10 regular-season appearances as a reliever during his 12-year career. He said in early March that he was open to the idea of coming out of the bullpen. The left-hander opted out of last season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

May finished fifth in NL Rookie of the Year voting last year after posting a 2.57 ERA with a 1.08 WHIP over 12 games (10 starts) for Los Angeles. The 23-year-old struck out 17 hitters in 13 2/3 innings this spring.

Right-hander Tony Gonsolin will also start the season in the bullpen.
