The New York Mets will be back in black this summer.
Team owner Steven Cohen announced the club will be wearing black uniforms for a few games this season that were previously used from 1998 to 2012, according to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com.
The Mets made the 2000 World Series with the jerseys part of their official attire. Legends such as Mike Piazza, Pedro Martinez, and David Wright wore the uniforms while playing for New York.
