Report: Rays bring back Roe on 1-year, $1.15M deal

The Tampa Bay Rays and reliever Chaz Roe have agreed to a one-year, $1.15-million contract, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times.
Roe has pitched with the Rays since joining the club in 2017. The right-hander posted a 2.89 ERA in 10 appearances last season.
The 34-year-old owns a 3.82 ERA with 10.1 K/9 over eight years in the majors with the Rays, Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, and Arizona Diamondbacks.
Roe was part of a Rays bullpen that accrued an MLB-best 3.7 fWAR in 2020.
