The Chicago Cubs agreed to a one-year, $1-million deal with right-hander Brandon Workman, reports MLB Network's Jon Heyman.
Workman's deal reportedly includes $2 million in incentives.
The 32-year-old should help anchor the backend of Chicago's bullpen in front of closer Craig Kimbrel.

Workman struggled to a 5.95 ERA in 21 games for the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies last season.
The Texas native was one of baseball's best relievers in 2019, however, posting a 10-1 record with a 1.88 ERA and 16 saves. His 36.4 K% ranked eleventh among MLB relievers that same season.
