Free-agent reliever Liam Hendriks was seen visiting the Toronto Blue Jays' complex in Dunedin, Florida, on Monday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports.

Toronto is interested in a reunion with the right-hander and issued an open invitation to view the new complex, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have a strong interest in adding Hendriks to their bullpen, with the Chicago White Sox also eyeing the veteran righty, sources told Robert Murray of FanSided.

Hendriks has also been linked to the San Francisco Giants and Philadelphia Phillies at various points during the offseason.

The 32-year-old was an All-Star in 2019 for the Oakland Athletics and has been one of baseball's most reliable closers over the last two seasons. Since the beginning of the 2019 campaign, Hendriks has posted a 1.79 ERA and 0.90 WHIP with 161 strikeouts over 110 1/3 innings while recording 39 saves.

Hendriks had two brief stints with the Blue Jays before being traded on both occasions. He was last dealt to the A's in 2015 for reliever Jesse Chavez.

The Blue Jays haven't announced where they will play their home games in 2021. The Canada-United States border remains closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The team is optimistic that it will be able to return to Rogers Centre at some point during the season if not for Opening Day.
