Shortstop Ha-seong Kim of the Korean Baseball Organization's Kiwoom Heroes will be posted Wednesday, Jeeho Yoo of Yonhap News reports.
The Toronto Blue Jays - who have been linked to nearly every free agent on the market - are among the teams that have been closely evaluating the star infielder, a source told Jon Morosi of MLB.com.
Kim, 25, will immediately become one of the most coveted free agents available. He hit .306/.397/.523 with 30 home runs, 109 RBIs, and 24 doubles over 138 games as one of the KBO's top hitters this past summer. Kim also stole 23 bases and drew 103 walks while striking out 91 times.
Over seven seasons in Korea, Kim has hit .294/.373/.493 with 133 home runs.
