Chicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ exited Thursday's contest against the Pittsburgh Pirates after fouling a ball off his eye in the fourth inning.

The 26-year-old immediately fell to the ground but managed to get to his feet before Cameron Maybin entered the game to finish his teammate's at-bat.
Happ was later diagnosed with an eye bruise.
Happ is having a career year for the Cubs. He was hitting .308/.420/.642 with 10 home runs, 22 RBIs, and 22 walks entering Thursday's contest.
