The New York Mets will resume play Tuesday against the Miami Marlins after the team's latest round of COVID-19 testing produced no positive results, Major League Baseball announced.
MLB postponed four Mets games after the team recorded two positive tests last week, including one game against the Marlins and an entire three-game series against the New York Yankees.
The game against the Marlins will be made up as part of a doubleheader at Citi Field beginning Tuesday at 5:10 p.m. ET.
The Mets and Yankees will make up their postponed games by playing a revised schedule that includes doubleheaders on Aug. 28 and Aug. 30 at Yankee Stadium, as well as a single game on Sept. 3 at Citi Field.
