A rare Mike Trout baseball card was sold at auction for a record $3.84 million on Saturday, according to Darren Rovell of The Action Network.
The autographed chrome "Superfractor" card from the 2009 Bowman collection broke the previous record high of $3.1 million paid for a Honus Wagner card.
Collector Dave Oancea purchased the card in 2018 for $400,000.
He said he'd sell the rare Trout piece for a record-breaking amount when he bought it two years ago.
"I'm a record-breaker. I broke every single sports betting record," Oancea told Beckett's Ryan Cracknell. "I won't sell it until I can sell it for the highest price of any card ever sold."
