San Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham is "fine" after taking an errant pitch to the groin on Tuesday against the San Francisco Giants, manager Jayce Tingler told reporters postgame.
A Sam Coonrod changeup hit Pham in the eighth inning.
Tommy Pham got hit by a pitch in the one area you really don’t want to get hit. Hope he’s alright. 🤭

Pham stayed in to run before being pulled prior to the ninth inning as a precaution.
The 32-year-old was acquired from the Tampa Bay Rays in an offseason trade.
