New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone announced Saturday that infielder DJ LeMahieu and reliever Luis Cessa have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, according to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com.

Boone said both players are self-isolating at home and gave the team permission to release their test results.

The skipper added that LeMahieu is asymptomatic, while Cessa is experiencing mild symptoms. Both need to test negative before they come to New York, according to James Wagner of the New York Times.

LeMahieu accrued an .893 OPS with 26 homers last year on his way to being named an All-Star for the third time in his career. Meanwhile, Cessa posted a 4.11 ERA across 81 innings coming out of the Yankees' bullpen.
