New York Mets right-hander Marcus Stroman isn't happy with Mark Teixeira after the former New York Yankees star said players should accept MLB's reported proposal for the 2020 season that includes a 50-50 revenue-sharing plan.
Teixeira said Tuesday that "people all over the world (are) taking pay cuts (and) losing their jobs" after the MLBPA stated Monday it won't agree to a 50-50 split. He added that he would do "whatever I have to do to play" if he was still a major leaguer.
Stroman apparently thinks Teixeira should put his money where his mouth is:

Other players also voiced their displeasure after hearing Teixeira's remarks, including Los Angeles Dodgers lefty Alex Wood:

Tampa Bay Rays ace Blake Snell also took a strong stance against pays cuts through revenue sharing on Wednesday, publicly blasting the reported restart proposal.
