ESPN announced Monday that it has reached an agreement with Eclat Media Group to exclusively broadcast six Korean Baseball Organization games per week, according to a press release obtained by David Lennon of Newsday Sports.
Coverage will begin Tuesday with Opening Day action between the Samsung Lions and NC Dinos.

"The KBO League is one of the greatest baseball leagues with world-class players and many exciting initiatives," KBO commissioner Un-Chan Chung said, according to ESPN. "During this unprecedented and difficult time, I hope the KBO League can bring consolation to the communities and provide guidelines to the world of sports."
The start of the 2020 season was pushed back by about six weeks due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. If a KBO player tests positive for the virus, the entire league will be put on hold for three weeks before a reassessment, Lennon reports.
There will be no fans in attendance.
