WATCH: Classic ⚾: 'The Double' decides 1995 ALDS Game 5 thriller
Unfortunately, there's no live baseball right now, but the break gives us a great chance to relive some classics.
Continuing the live streams this week, MLB's Thursday feature is approaching its 25th anniversary: Game 5 of the 1995 ALDS between the Seattle Mariners and the New York Yankees. After the Yankees took a 2-0 series lead, the matchup moved to the Kingdome. There, the Mariners clawed back to force a do-or-die contest featuring legends such as Ken Griffey Jr., Edgar Martinez, Randy Johnson, and even a young Alex Rodriguez as a pinch runner going up against David Cone, Wade Boggs, Bernie Williams, and rookie closer Mariano Rivera.
The result was an extra-innings affair punctuated by a base hit so famous it's known as "The Double."
