The Seattle Mariners have agreed to a minor-league deal with veteran outfielder Carlos Gonzalez, reports Bob Nightengale of USA TODAY Sports.

Gonzalez will receive an invite to big-league spring training and will make $750,000 if he makes the Mariners, Nightengale adds.

The 34-year-old split 2019 between the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs, hitting .200/.289/.283 with three home runs, three doubles, and 10 RBIs in 45 games.

Gonzalez is a three-time All-Star, who also has three Gold Gloves and two Silver Sluggers on his resume.

The Venezuelan received MVP consideration in 2010 after winning the National League batting title and leading the league in hits while playing for the Colorado Rockies.
