Free-agent Japanese slugger Yoshitomo Tsutsugo is drawing interest from the Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers, and Minnesota Twins, sources told Jon Morosi of MLB Network.

The Toronto Blue Jays are also reportedly interested in the 28-year-old first baseman/outfielder.

Tsutsugo is available through the Japanese posting system until Dec. 19, according to Morosi. If the player and an MLB team agree to a deal, the major-league club will pay a transfer fee based on a percentage of the contract's value.

In late October, Tsutsugo said he's dreamed about playing in the majors since he was a child, according to Jason Coskrey of The Japan Times

Tsutsugo spent a decade with the Yokohama BayStars in the Japanese Central League. Of his 205 career home runs, 139 have come in the last four seasons.
