The World Series is now a best-of-three thanks to a resurgence from the Houston Astros' Alex Bregman in Game 4 against the Washington Nationals.
Bregman entered Saturday's contest with just one hit in the series but broke out with a 3-for-5 performance that included a monster grand slam in the seventh inning to silence Nationals Park.

A day earlier, Bregman struggled through an 0-for-5 dud. The Nationals even decided to walk Michael Brantley in the sixth inning to load the bases for the star third baseman.
Teammate Carlos Correa guaranteed after Game 3 that Bregman was "going to go off" after another poor performance, according to Juan Toribio of MLB.com.
"After that walk, I said, 'Oh no, you don’t do that to him,'" Correa added Friday. Bregman proved his shortstop right.
Bregman, for his part, felt a sense of vindication after the AL MVP candidate's massive 5-RBI eruption Saturday propelled the Astros to a second win in Washington after dropping both games in Houston to begin the series.
"This game is a game of failure, and you're going to fail a heck of a lot more than you succeed in it," Bregman said. "I think the feeling that I had when I hit that was I was pretty fired up. I wanted to help my team win a game and get this series back to 2-2."
The Fall Classic resumes Sunday for a pivotal Game 5 in Washington.
