The star slugger expressed confidence that his team will take care of business over the next three games at Yankee Stadium after splitting two road contests in Houston.
"Time to regroup and get ready for Tuesday," Judge said after Sunday's game, according to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com. "I always like our chances going home, especially for three. It's time to roll. It's the postseason. We're going to get it done."
The Bronx Bombers could've taken a commanding 2-0 series lead over Houston, but they were unable to produce a big hit outside of a two-run homer from Judge off Astros ace Justin Verlander.
"It's tough," the two-time All-Star added. "We had a lot of chances in that game. We had them on the ropes basically all game and just weren't able to seal the deal, but we’re confident going back home."
In the current 2-3-2 playoff format, the winner of Game 3 has gone on to win the series 67% of the time when the series was tied 1-1 coming in, according to Hoch.
The pivotal Game 3 contest will go Tuesday afternoon in New York.
