Atlanta Braves left-hander Dallas Keuchel will start Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the St. Louis Cardinals, the team announced Tuesday.
The Cardinals announced right-hander Miles Mikolas will oppose Keuchel in the series opener.
Keuchel is 4-2 with a 3.31 ERA in 10 career playoff appearances, all with the Houston Astros. The 31-year-old did not pitch against the Cardinals this season and is 0-2 with a 10.03 ERA in three career outings against them.
Mikolas, also 31, has never pitched in the postseason. He made one start against the Braves in 2019, allowing three earned runs while striking out nine across seven innings in May.
The NLDS begins Oct. 3 at SunTrust Park.
