Multiple teams are reportedly interested in free-agent reliever Jeremy Jeffress, who was recently released by the Milwaukee Brewers.

The New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds, Tampa Bay Rays, and even the Brewers are considering signing the 31-year-old to a deal that would carry over into 2020, according to Matt Ehalt of Yahoo Sports.

Jeffress won't be eligible for a postseason roster this year.

The right-hander struggled in 2019 prior to his release. He posted a 5.02 ERA and 1.37 WHIP over 52 innings in relief. That came in stark contrast to his All-Star 2018 campaign, during which he recorded a 1.29 ERA and 0.99 WHIP with 89 strikeouts in 76 2/3 innings.
