Stephen Strasburg set the Washington Nationals/Montreal Expos franchise record for all-time strikeouts on Friday.
The right-hander passed Steve Rogers in the bottom of the third when he struck out New York Mets third baseman Todd Frazier for his 1,622 career punch out.

Rogers struck out 1,621 over his 13-year career with the Expos.
Strasburg, meanwhile, entered the game with 1,619 strikeouts thanks to a gaudy 10.6 K/9 rate over 10 years (1,375 innings) in the majors.
The 31-year-old was drafted first overall by Washington in the 2009 MLB Draft.
