Mets' Frazier calls Nationals' Eaton 'immature' as feud continues
The beef between Todd Frazier and Adam Eaton is ramping up.
The New York Mets third baseman labeled the Washington Nationals outfielder "immature" on Tuesday, a day after Eaton called Frazier "very childish" following an on-field spat.
Todd Frazier has responded. He called Adam Eaton immature, alluding to an incident when they were teammates with the White Sox.

During the scrum, Frazier revealed the feud originated when the two were teammates in 2016.
"You ask guys when I played for the White Sox in 2016, ask all 23 of those guys, they know what happened, for (Eaton) to even talk after that, I don’t know how you talk after that," Frazier said, according to Matt Ehalt of Yahoo Sports.
Eaton didn't appear overly concerned when asked to respond to Frazier's comments as the Nationals prepared for the second contest of a four-game series between the division rivals:
"He's like an old girlfriend"

Frazier has criticized Eaton in the past. In August 2018, Mets infielder Phillip Evans was injured on an aggressive slide by Eaton - a play that upset Frazier.
He acknowledged Tuesday that Eaton's slide was "part of" the issue, but it mostly centered around the 2016 incident, during which the two had to be separated by Chicago’s clubhouse staff, according to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com.
Frazier and Eaton spoke face to face before Tuesday's game:
