Manny Machado jerseys were on sale for a hot minute at Petco Park on Wednesday after he reportedly agreed to a record contract worth $300 million with the San Diego Padres on Tuesday.
However, after the Padres learned of the jerseys being available in their team store, the items were quickly pulled, according to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune. Acee also reports that it's unknown if any jerseys were sold in the short time the item appeared on shelves.
Machado, who was in town for a team physical on Wednesday, according to ESPN, hasn't officially finalized a deal with the Padres yet.
