If Chris Archer had a Hall of Fame vote, he wouldn't select anyone who used performance-enhancing drugs.
With the Hall of Fame announcement set for Jan. 22, the Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander took to Twitter on Thursday to offer his thoughts on the subject.
If you ever failed a test, got suspended, or admitted to using performance enhancers you should NOT be in the hall of fame. No hard feelings but you disgraced the integrity of the game, your stats are tainted. You don’t deserve the honor.

While he didn't name anyone specifically, Archer's comments could be in reference to a variety of players on the current ballot.
Barry Bonds (73 percent) and Roger Clemens (73.5 percent), who've both been connected to PED use, were close to the 75 percent of votes required for election, as of Friday.
Bonds' connection to the BALCO scandal and Clemens' appearance on the Mitchell Report have clouded their Hall of Fame chances, but neither player was ever suspended for PEDs during their respective careers.
Manny Ramirez (26.5 percent), Sammy Sosa (13 percent), and Gary Sheffield (13 percent) are also on the ballot and may be who Archer is referring to.
Ramirez was twice suspended for testing positive for PEDs, Sosa reportedly tested positive in 2003 but has vehemently denied usage, and Sheffield admitted to using a testosterone-based steroid cream supplied by BALCO in 2004.
