The Baltimore Orioles are about to enter a rebuild, but it looks like they also want some veteran experience added to the mix.

Baltimore is monitoring the market for free-agent second baseman Ian Kinsler, sources told MLB Network's Jon Morosi, who adds the Orioles front office is addressing more pressing concerns at the moment, like hiring a new manager.

The 36-year-old Kinsler won a World Series with the Boston Red Sox in 2018 after he was acquired in a trade with the Los Angeles Angels. He's actually switched clubs twice in the last year, as the Angels picked him up from the Detroit Tigers last December.

Kinsler is coming off the least offensively productive season of his 13-year career, hitting .240/.301/.380 with 14 home runs and 48 RBIs.

The two-time Gold Glove winner remains an above-average defensive player, posting a plus-10 in defensive runs saved and 9.7 UZR, according to Fangraphs.

Baltimore is projected to start Tim Beckham at second base, although he could be non-tendered before the Nov. 30 deadline.
