MLB qualifying offer tracker: Who accepted and who declined?
Monday at 5 p.m. ET was the deadline for Major League Baseball's free agents to accept or decline a $17.9-million qualifying offer they received 10 days ago.
Only seven eligible players were tendered qualifying offers by their 2018 teams. If the player accepts the offer, he'll return to his old team in 2019 on a one-year, $17.9-million contract. Should he decline, the player will then become a free agent and his former team will receive draft-pick compensation if he signs elsewhere this winter.
Six of the seven players rejected the qualifying offers, according to a release from the MLB Players Association on Monday. Here's a look at the status of all seven affected players:

Ryu becomes only the sixth player to accept a qualifying offer since the system was first implemented in 2012, and the first since Jeremy Hellickson and Neil Walker both did so in the winter of 2016.
