Astros' Reddick: 'Pretty tired of getting screwed over by reviews'

Josh Reddick isn't pleased about the overturned call that may have cost his team a victory against the Oakland Athletics on Friday, and the frustrated Houston Astros outfielder didn't hold back when asked about it postgame.

After Reddick and his teammates constructed a near-perfect relay from the wall in deep right field in the ninth to nab Athletics baserunner Ramon Laureano at home plate and keep a 3-2 lead intact, Oakland challenged and the call was overturned after a lengthy review. The A's wound up winning the game on Matt Olson's walk-off home run an inning later.

"Everything I saw, he was out," an agitated Reddick said, according to MLB.com's Brian McTaggart. "There was zero angle that showed him being safe and getting in there. I have no idea what they saw there. Everybody around here thinks they made the wrong call. ... Pretty tired of getting screwed over by reviews."

Reddick didn't leave his feelings in the clubhouse with reporters, either, as he and teammate Evan Gattis voiced their displeasure on Twitter.

The win pulled Oakland within one game of the division-leading Astros with the two teams set to square off twice more this weekend.
