The New York Mets are apparently moving closer to trading closer Jeurys Familia.
The 28-year-old will likely be dealt before the trade deadline and the Mets are now exchanging names with teams, reports SNY's Andy Martino, adding that seven-to-eight teams are expressing interest in the right-hander.
Familia has been on the radar of interested teams for most of July while pitching well for the last-place Mets.
