Three-time All-Star Daniel Murphy hasn't suited up for the Washington Nationals this season and his rehab from offseason knee surgery doesn't appear to be going well, either.
During his current stint with Double-A Harrisburg, a scout who watched the 33-year-old described him as "gimpy," according to The Washington Post's Chelsea Janes.
Murphy, who had the articular cartilage in his right knee repaired, has struggled with basics such as lateral movement and straight ahead speed, according to the same scout.

Murphy's original target date for his MLB return was supposed to be mid-to-late April, but Nationals manager Dave Martinez said Sunday the second baseman is "still a ways" from being activated from the disabled list, according to MLB.com's Jamal Collier.
Since signing a three-year deal with the Nationals, Murphy has been one of the team's most potent hitters, slashing .334/.387/.569 with 48 home runs, 90 doubles, and 197 RBIs.
