Dodgers' Hill exits with blister after throwing 2 pitches
Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Rich Hill left Saturday's game against the Washington Nationals after throwing only two pitches in the bottom of the first inning.
Hill left his previous start last Sunday after 5 2/3 innings with a blister on the inside part of his middle finger. On Saturday, he aggravated the blister and was replaced by reliever Scott Alexander.

The timing of the injury is not ideal, coming in the opening frame of the second half of a doubleheader, leaving the bullpen to carry the weight for a full nine innings.
While no timetable was immediately available, the Dodgers can ill afford to lose another pitcher as both Clayton Kershaw and Hyun-jin Ryu have hit the disabled list already in May.
The oft-injured Hill has had a rough start to his campaign, both in terms of injury and performance. He owns a 6.20 ERA with 25 strikeouts and 13 walks in 24 2/3 innings.
