Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Taijuan Walker has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with right forearm inflammation, the team announced Sunday.
Right-hander Silvino Bracho was recalled from Triple-A Reno in a corresponding roster move.
Walker left his start on Saturday against the Los Angeles Dodgers after just two innings with what the team said was right forearm tightness. Following Arizona's 9-1 win, he told reporters that he was not concerned about the issue, and the team had no plans to send him for an MRI, according to Zach Buchanan of The Athletic.
"Just a little tightness," he said postgame. "My forearm was a little tight and I didn't really want to push it, so I came out. I wanted to be smart about it."
The 25-year-old, now in his second season with the Diamondbacks, owns a 3.46 ERA in three starts this season.
