Everything's coming up New York Mets.
With the big club improving to 5-1 with Thursday's victory over the Washington Nationals, real-life baseball prospect Tim Tebow hit a home run on the first pitch he saw in Double-A.
Stationed with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in the Eastern League, the 30-year-old Tebow tagged 24-year-old Teddy Stankiewicz of the Portland Sea Dogs - the Boston Red Sox Double-A affiliate - for a three-run shot that was part of a five-run first inning for the Rumble Ponies.
