Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout left Sunday's Cactus League game against the Texas Rangers after being hit in the helmet by a pitch.
Trout was plunked by Rangers reliever Erik Goeddel during an at-bat in the sixth inning. He immediately got up and jogged to first base, but the Angels replaced him with a pinch runner.

Following the game, Angels manager Mike Scioscia told MLB.com's Maria Guardado that Trout was fine following the play. His day had already been scheduled to end following the plate appearance in which he was beaned.
The 26-year-old, who finished fourth in AL MVP voting last season despite playing in just 114 games, has gone 4-for-19 with a home run so far in spring training.
