The New York Mets appear to have found a new arm for their bullpen.

The team agreed to a two-year, $14-million deal with right-hander Anthony Swarzak, sources told Marc Carig of Newsday.

The reported deal is pending a physical.

Swarzak joins a Mets bullpen under new manager Mickey Callaway. Last year, the team's relievers finished with a combined 4.82 ERA, which was only better than the Detroit Tigers.

In 2017, Swarzak was a revelation for the Chicago White Sox and Milwaukee Brewers, going a combined 6-4 with a 2.33 ERA and 1.03 WHIP across a career-high 70 appearances.

Prior to last season, the 32-year-old pitched to a 5.52 ERA in 26 appearances for the New York Yankees in 2016.
