The New York Mets appear to have found a new arm for their bullpen.
The team agreed to a two-year, $14-million deal with right-hander Anthony Swarzak, sources told Marc Carig of Newsday.
The reported deal is pending a physical.
Swarzak joins a Mets bullpen under new manager Mickey Callaway. Last year, the team's relievers finished with a combined 4.82 ERA, which was only better than the Detroit Tigers.
