Monday is a big day, as people are taking time out of their busy schedules to catch a glimpse of the solar eclipse.
Anyone within the path of totality - which stretches from Salem, Ore., to Charleson, S.C., according to NASA, can witness a total solar eclipse, while others outside of the path can still see a partial solar eclipse.
Among those fascinated with the sun's disappearance are Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers and his fiancee, Kate Upton, who are both sporting gigantic eclipse goggles for the event.
The next total solar eclipse will take place on April 8, 2024, according to Accuweather.
